For parents and children who love spending time together in the kitchen, a £130 Gift Voucher for 1 parent and 1 child for a Cooking Together: Parent & Child class* at The Cheshire Cookery School is a wonderful way to share a fun and memorable experience.

Parent & Child Cookery Classes start with a warm welcome and a chat with the chef over coffee or a soft drink about the day ahead, before heading through to the kitchens for demonstrations of the dishes you’ll be cooking together. Next, it’s time to roll up your sleeves, get on an apron, learn new skills, and enjoy cooking side by side under our chefs’ expert instruction.

We firmly believe that great cooking isn’t about recipes, it’s about techniques, and both parents and children will work together in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors. Throughout the class, you’ll both gain practical experience, building confidence in the kitchen. For some dishes, the chefs may have prepared certain elements in advance so that you can make the most of your hands-on cooking and learning time.

We don’t give you a recipe print-out during the class, as we want you to enjoy the experience rather than simply following a recipe. A full recipe pack will be emailed to you after the class, and our chefs are always happy to answer any questions during and after the session.

During the class, there will be time to take a break and enjoy the dishes you’ve prepared together. Parents can enjoy a glass of wine, while soft drinks are available for all.

If you do wish to take any food that you have cooked home with you, please bring suitable containers. Please note, we are unable to accept any responsibility or liability for food taken out of the cookery school.

Important Information

Class Time:
10am – 1pm

When to arrive:
Please arrive 10 minutes before the class begins to settle in and meet your chef for a relaxed start to the day.

What to wear:
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe, non-slip shoes. Aprons will be provided for both adults and children.

What’s included:
Hands-on cooking with our chefs, all ingredients and equipment, a welcome drink on arrival (soft drink for children, wine or soft drink for adults), and the full recipe pack emailed after the class.

What to bring:
Bring a container if you wish to take leftovers home (we can’t take responsibility once food leaves the kitchen).

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers must be used against a cookery course with The Cheshire Cookery School and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Gift Vouchers ordered via the telephone or website will be subject to a 14 day cancellation period starting from the date of the order.

Gift Vouchers cannot be extended and are non refundable.
