Children's Birthday Party

Good morning Lisa and Liz,I just wanted to write and say thank you for the birthday party yesterday. All of the children loved it and were thoroughly engaged from start to finish. The biscuits and pizzas they produced were enjoyed enthusiastically and I'm sure they were exhausted by the amount of energy they put in to the day. I would like you to pass on our thanks to the chef for the day and the assistants who supported her. They were all knowledgeable and patient with the group. From a personal point of view we had initially wondered about spending so much on a party, but I would say that it was evident where the money was spent and I felt that it was good value. Thanks again. If you want to use any comments for promotions I am happy for these to be reproduced.Kind regardsPatrick

Many thanks to everyone at the Cheshire Cookery School for another amazing week of fabulous food and wonderful tuition. We brought 23 boys from Manchester Grammar School for a 'Chefs' Skills' course as part of their activities week. The boys had a fantastic week and learnt a huge amount in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Our chef, Tina, was absolutely brilliant with the boys and the programme you organised for us had a great combination of dishes and techniques over the week. We've had great feedback from the boys and we're already looking to book for next year!

Meeting & Team Building

Hi LisaFirstly can I say a huge “Thank you” to you all especially your chef and team for what was one of the best events we’ve done. The whole team loved it and have not stopped talking about it and other departments are very jealous.Your chef had to put up with a very noisy bunch during the evening and he handled it with great enthusiasm and professionalism.I’ve asked the team to send me any photo’s they’ve taken. The whole day worked for us being in one place and we were looked after from start to finish.Once again, many thanks for such a wonderful day.RegardsSue

Stress Free Christmas

Absolutely delighted there is another ‘Stress Free Christmas’ class – my name is already on the list! I attended last years class & left with loads of amazing food that went straight into my freezer ready for Christmas Day. The hints & tips I got made for not only the easiest Christmas Day I’ve ever done, but also the tastiest! I cooked for 16 last year and I already I have had more requests for this Christmas! Can’t wait to start getting organised again!

I attended your macaron masterclass on the 8th March. The class was excellent. The atmosphere was informal and the teaching style very engaging. All questions asked regarding the course were answered comprehensively by either Jane or Chef. I had a great time, learnt a lot (so much that I have just received my first paid order for 30 macarons!).

East meets West

The term fusion is quite appropriate as Eastern food meets Western enthusiasm. What a great evening, "met" some new names of ingredients like Galangal, very fragrant and added a new dimension, I created some dishes that were so packed with flavour and freshness combined with a mix of textures it was a treat for the senses. My third visit here to the cookery school and they just keep getting better and better.

Asian cookery

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening course which was well organised and extremely relaxing. I made and ate three delicious dishes, all very quick and easy to replicate at home. Demonstrations by Sam the chef were practical and very informative and support was always on hand if needed. Great fun for those who enjoy cooking and good food.

Knife Skills

Having recently become interested in cooking I decided to learn more about skills in the kitchen. The Cheshire Cookery School has offered me a fantastic opportunity to learn the skills that were never taught to me as a youngster in a stunning environment with first class teaching and assistance. I now feel ready to progress my cooking skills to the next level and cannot wait to join some of the new classes coming up over the next few months. I feel totally inspired, many thanks to your team. Knife Skills Course

Hi, I would like to tell you how much I enjoyed the Knife Skills Course that I attended last month. Not only did I learn some fantastic new skills for the kitchen but I also cooked 2 of the best dishes that I have ever made. I have completely changed the way that I approach cutting meat and fish and cannot believe how much more competent I feel as a budding young chef! Many thanks to your fantastic team for all of their input and tips. Lucy x

I just wanted to say thank you for the invite to your tapas and paella course last week. I had a great time, improved my knife skills and made a stonking paella at the weekend!

I will write a blog post about it this week or next and tweet you the link when it goes up.

Kurt is a brilliant teacher and the entire room seemed to hang on his every word.

Thank you once again.

Team Building Event

We held a corporate team building evening for approx. 28 employees with the Cheshire Cookery School. From the initial enquiry, Lisa asked all the right questions to ensure our evening ran without a hitch. We chose a menu from their extensive list, we explained what we wanted from the evening and Lisa, Sam and the team took care of everything else. Everyone had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Thank you very much!!

Party Time

My daughters both had parties at The Cheshire Cookery School, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The staff were amazing and Sam did a fantastic job with a great choice of things to make. Not too difficult but very rewarding. The girls were kept fully occupied and enthralled for two and a half hours. They loved what they had made and enjoyed tasting some of Sam's delicious baking too. All the equipment and ingredients were included and it was a very easy party to host, with lovely fresh baking to take home. Would absolutely do it again!

My second class attended, this time it was how to cook steak & chips and accompanying sauces, sounds straight forward I know, however the little tweaks and tips you learn on this journey on how to treat the meat, i.e. the importance of it being at room temperature, the benefits of good seasoning, the combination of ingredients to make sauces. A really great night which turned the ordinary into the exceptional. Regards Dave

Leadership Team-Working Evening

Thank you to all at The Cheshire Cookery School for hosting a memorable team-working evening for our business leaders. The feedback from our participants has been excellent – the Italian themed team cook-off perfectly delivered our objectives for collaborative working and was great fun and well complemented with the superb, entertaining chocolate dessert demonstrations.

Corporate event

I took a group of colleagues to the Cheshire Cookery School following a presentation. What a lovely relaxed atmosphere it created. It provided the right level of fun and information and competition. Above all we agreed the food was really good, even though we novices cooked it. I would have no hesitation in booking again with the same group of colleagues or new ones.

group cooking

I was recently able to experience an evening at Cheshire Cookery School with a small group of friends. We were due a night out and were looing for something a little different from the norm.
without exception I can say that we all had a cracking time. we all learned a few culinary tricks to impress her indoors. out teacher was brilliant, made everything seem very simple and this coupled with the facilities and environment made this a great event and activity.
I would not hesitate to recommend this for a corporate or social gathering, highly enjoyable

Team Andy Pasta

Anyone looking for a fun/learning day should book The Chesire Cookery School. Myself and 19 friends had a fantastic day with Lisa & Kurt. Our day out was for a birthday celebration. Champagne, fab food (which we cooked ourselves) and lots of fun and laughter. We even got the chance to say those famous words 'Yes Chef!'

IJS Cook off!

On behalf of my colleagues I want to thank you all for an absolutely fantastic day! Everything ran so smoothly from the moment we walked through the door till the moment we left, the food was gorgeous (if I do say so myself 🙂 ) Emma’s demonstrations were easy to follow and the competition element to our day was the icing on the cake. I can’t thank you and your team enough for looking after us we had such a laugh and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something a bit different.

As soon as you walk in to the kitchen you get the WOW factor, this just isn't cooking, this takes cooking to another level. An absolutely fantastic evening was had by all of us, and Lisa and her team were superb, on hand with lots of handy tips. I would recommend a team build here any day.

Dad's Night Out

“If you like food, you’ll love this. When you see the set-up and begin to appreciate what’s required in terms of prep, throw in some expert tuition, a sprinkling of handy tips, an accompanying glass of red and a big dollop of healthy banter, cooking doesn’t get better than this”.

Beginners class

I came to the cooking with confidence beginners class last night and I can honestly say that I really enjoyed the class.
As a novice in the kitchen all the staff were friendly and made the whole group feel very welcome. The chef explained the recipes to us and made them easy to understand for what was a great experience and enjoyable evening. I will certainly be coming back again

Kids Cookery Club

The One Show

Hi Lisa,
We found it very easy to film cooking sequences at the Cheshire Cookery School. The kitchen is brightly lit, there is plenty of room to manoeuvre camera equipment and the staff were very helpful in providing everything we needed. This all contributed to a very efficient and pleasant shoot.

October 2013

We were planning a first ever conference for a group of 12 colleagues from several different countries and wanted an informal way to break the ice. The Cheshire Cookery School provided excellent organisation, a fantastic facility and an event that was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The shared cooking experience provided a fantastic start to our 3 day event.

Team Building Event for Vileda

Hi Lisa

Thank you so much for the photos, they are great, and I will definitely be including some of them in our company monthly newsletter.

The feedback I have received from all delegates has been excellent. They thoroughly enjoyed the event and said it was very well organised, lots of fun and very different to anything else they have done. A couple of delegates said they never usually get involved in cooking at home, but really enjoyed the cooking and the competition.

Thank you so much for your help, attention to detail and providing us with a team building event that will be long remembered.

Kind regards
