In this Italian cookery class our chef will teach you all the techniques you’ll need in order to create Italian favorites, including making fresh pasta and gnocchi. Our chef will show you the best ways to source, prepare, cook and serve Italian food.

The class starts with a coffee and a chat with the chef about the class ahead, and then it’s through to the kitchens for demonstrations of the dishes you’ll be cooking. Next it’s time to roll up your sleeves get on an apron, learn new skills and enjoy replicating the dishes under our chef’s expert instruction.

You can then retire to the dining room to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a glass of wine.

We firmly believe that great cooking isn’t about recipes—it’s about techniques, you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

Everything you need for the class will be provided for you.

Evening Class 6:30pm-9:30pm

Please arrive 10 mins prior to the commencement of the class. On arrival you will be directed to our coffee lounge where you can meet the chef and chat about the class.

Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toe, non-slip footwear. An apron will be provided for you to use during the class.

Please note – we are unable to accept any responsibility/liability for food taken out of the cookery school, however if you do wish to take any food that you have cooked home with you, please bring suitable containers.

Booking Information

Below you will find some relevant information in preparation to your visit to our School. Please read this carefully and should you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us at your earliest convenience via our email address info@thecheshirecookeryschool.com.
Arrival
Please arrive 10 mins prior to the commencement of the class. On arrival you will be directed to our coffee lounge where you can meet the chef and chat about the class. The class will provide plenty of demonstrations and hands on cooking and to finish, you are welcome to retire to our dining room to enjoy the fruits of your labour over a glass of wine, should you wish.

We don’t give you a recipe print out during the class, as we want you enjoy the experience rather than simply following a recipe. We will email you the recipe pack after the class. Our chefs are always happy to answer any questions during and after the class.
Class Times
These are the usual start and finish times, but some classes differ so please check your booking form.
Day Class 10am-4pm
Evening Class 6.30pm -9.30pm
Half Day Class 10am-1pm
How to find us
Our location is situated away from the main road but easily accessible. From Manchester Road / A56, turn at the Wheatsheaf Pub, onto Oldfield Road, 2nd Right into Weldon Road leading to Lawrence Road, 2nd exit off the mini roundabout, at the crossroads, turn left onto Norman Road, then second right into a large car park where you will see a building with, COD Electrical, Miele and The Cheshire Cookery School signs, we are in the same building. Come in via the main entrance where you will be directed from reception.
Allergies/other requirements
If there are any changes at all in dietary / allergies / religious requirements, it is imperative that you inform us at the earliest opportunity, via the email address above.
We are unable to accept any responsibility/liability for food taken out of the school.
Cancellations /changes to bookings
If your circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend the class you are booked to attend, please let us know as soon as possible, via email to info@thecheshirecookeryschool.com. An administrative fee of £20.00 will be applicable to reschedule your booking.
The booking is non-refundable, but we can offer you a few options:
Up to 3 weeks prior to the class date, we can transfer your booking onto another class of your choice subject to availability* and an administrative fee of £20.00.
Less than 3 weeks prior to the class date, you are welcome to send somebody else in your place but please let us know via email to info@thecheshirecookeryschool.com.
Less than 3 weeks prior to the class date, if the class has a waiting list we will endeavour to fill your place, in which case you will be able to book on another class subject to availability* and an administrative fee of £20.00. If we are unable to fill your place, your booking will be made void with no possibility to reschedule or refund your place.
Please bear in mind that if for whatever reason you do not attend your class, we are unable to offer a refund or reschedule your booking.
*If for whatever reason you need to change your booking, please be aware that for very popular classes we might not be able to accommodate your new date and you may have to select another class.
We reserve the right to cancel a class if the numbers booked on the class are less than 6 therefore making the class nonviable to run. In the unlikely event of a class being cancelled by The Cheshire Cookery School you will be offered a place on another class.
Force Majeure: In the unlikely event of extreme weather conditions preventing a cookery class from running, we will reschedule your class at a mutually convenient date within 12 months.
