Under the expert guidance of chef Sushma in this hands-on Indian class, you will learn to mix authentic ingredients and spices, and make great tasting Indian food at home.
The course starts with a coffee and a chat with Sushma about the day ahead, and then it’s through to the kitchens for demonstrations of a range of authentic Indian dishes. Next it’s time to roll up your sleeves put on an apron, learn new skills and enjoy replicating the dishes under Sushma expert instruction.
Classes are fun and informal and when the dishes are completed you can then retire to the dining room to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a glass of wine or soft drink.
Everything you need for the class will be provided for you, including all authentic Indian ingredients, and handouts of all the recipes.
We firmly believe that great cooking isn’t about recipes—it’s about techniques, you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
Please arrive 10 mins prior to the commencement of the class. On arrival you will be directed to our coffee lounge where you can meet the chef and chat about the class.
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toe, non-slip footwear. An apron will be provided for you to use during the class.
Please note – we are unable to accept any responsibility/liability for food taken out of the cookery school, however if you do wish to take any food that you have cooked home with you, please bring suitable containers.
Feedback from previous classes:
“This was the first cooking school that I have ever attended and I have got to say it was very well run and organised by both yourselves and Sushma. Felt like we were being spoilt throughout with the quality of the class, the range of food we had to cook, so many hints and tips from Sushma and being looked after by the members of staff you had on hand during the day to keep delivering us with clean pans, utensils, drinks and assistance with the equipment. Had enough food in my take away boxes for my wife and eldest child to have for their tea from them when I got home (as well as having a taste again myself) and they both are wanting me to make them all again soon. Massively expanded my range of Indian cooking. I will definitely book again for later in the year and will highly recommend to others. Thanks “Dear Lisa,
