Back by popular demand this hands-on class with Indian chefs Nina & Sumita will teach you how to mix authentic ingredients and spices, and make great tasting Indian food at home.
The course starts with a coffee and a chat with the ladies about the day ahead, and then it’s through to the kitchens for demonstrations of a range of authentic Indian dishes. Next it’s time to roll up your sleeves put on an apron, learn new skills and enjoy replicating the dishes under our Nina & Sumita’s expert instruction. Classes are fun and informal and when the dishes are completed you can then retire to the dining room to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a glass of wine.
Everything you need for the class will be provided for you, including all authentic indian ingredients, and handouts of all the recipes.
This course is on Saturday 14th September 2019 10am – Approx 3pm
About Nina & Sumita
We are delighted to have the fabulous Nina & Sumita teach Indian Cookery at The Cheshire Cookery School
Initially they ran cookery classes from their homes and have taught nearly 350 students the secrets of Authentic Indian Cookery
Their first TV programme was with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall in TV Dinners.
Their second programme was on Chef for a night where they took over an Indian restaurant.
Then they were discovered for a programme called Network East (The Indian version of This Morning) on BBC 2 where they were the resident chefs for 3 years and recorded about 30 episodes. They have also appeared on Granada Reports.
At present they are the resident chefs on BBC Asian Network (Radio)
