Italian Masterclass with Celebrity Chef Joe Hurd

We are delighted to welcome Celebrity Chef Joe Hurd to the cookery school on Tuesday 31st July 2018 for a Full day Italian Masterclass

Joe Hurd started his career under the guidance of Francesco Mazzei at London’s L’Anima restaurant. A second-generation Italian, Joe has dedicated his life to Italian food, working closely with the late Antonio Carluccio, Gennaro Contaldo and Heston Blumenthal. During his time in the kitchen he has appeared on Saturday Kitchen, The Travel Channel, The Saturday Show and hosted ITV’s The Munchbox. He is a co-founder of one of London’s most exciting supper clubs, “The Bowles Room Blitz” and has appeared at a number of BBC Good Food Shows, Jimmy’s Farm Festival, Aldeburgh Food Festival and Radio 2’s Carfest. Joe is back on TV this Spring featuring on Saturday Kitchen

The class starts with a coffee and a chat with the chef about the class ahead, and then it’s through to the kitchens for demonstrations of the dishes you’ll be cooking. Next it’s time to roll up your sleeves get on an apron, learn new skills and enjoy replicating the dishes under our chef’s expert instruction.
You can then retire to the dining room to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a glass of wine.
We firmly believe that great cooking isn’t about recipes-it’s about techniques, you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
Everything you need for the class will be provided for you.
